The task in this project was to design an exhibition of student projects about the botanical garden in the top floor of the surpreme building authorities office in central Munich.
To overcome the difficulty of not being allowed to fix anything on neither floor, wall or ceiling, we decided to design a self-supporting structure in an abstracted form of a greenhouse, situated over the stairs. Visitors are lead up the stairs, through the house into the exhibition. The plants filling the greenhouse were borrowed from the botanical garden and the student projects mounted and displayed on posters in between beams and visible from the outside. In some of the places there is a nice interplay between the posters and the plants, creating a connection between projects and the project location.
